Claim work
These past cases show the work involved in presenting documents and following up with insurers. Each outcome depended on its own facts and policy terms.
Example from our claim work: a marine cargo claim of ₹1.5 crore, rejected at first, then paid with interest after review.
A cargo claim was initially declined. We reviewed the circumstances and the policy wording, then helped present the supporting information to the insurer. The decision was reversed and the claim was paid with interest.
Following a fire at a client’s factory, we helped with the claim documentation and followed up on outstanding queries during the assessment until the claim was settled.
The client had chosen a zero-depreciation add-on at renewal, for ₹5,000 more. On two later repair claims of ₹80,000 and ₹35,000, we helped explain each settlement; the client’s share came to ₹8,000 and ₹3,000.
For a child’s ear surgery, we helped identify eligible expenses incurred before and after hospitalisation, alongside the ₹62,000 hospital bill.
